Let your clients login to activeCollab with their WHMCS username and password. Shared authentication in under 5 minutes.
WHMCS is world’s leading all-in-one client management, billing & support solution for online businesses. It helps automate customer signup & ordering, recurring billing, invoicing and even support via a built in help desk system.
WHMCS AC Connector – as the name suggests – connects WHMCS with activeCollab. Shared authentication, single sign on and more. Your clients can login to activeCollab with their WHMCS username/password and can be assigned to a project automatically.
Features & Benefits
World's best, Doing their best
Let activeCollab and WHMCS do their best! Use WHMCS for client management, hosting, billing and support tickets. And use activeCollab for managing your projects and collaboration. No more unfulfilled wishes!
Fully Automated
You have control over the integration yet it’s fully automated once configured. Control access for users imported from WHMCS. All the dirty work will then be handled by the connector. You can focus on something important now.
Shared Authentication
WHMCS serves as the “master”. When clients try to login to activeCollab, their account information will be imported from WHMCS and configured in activeCollab. Once they are on activeCollab, they can continue using it even if their WHMCS account is deleted. It’s all seamlessly integrated.
Single Sign On
The module also shows a link to WHMCS within activeCollab left menu. Clicking on it will take the user directly to WHMCS – without needing to login to WHMCS again.
How does it work?
When someone tries to login to activeCollab, WHMCS activeCollab Connector checks to authenticate them with activeCollab first. If that does not work, it will try to authenticate the user with WHMCS. If that works, the connector will fetch user’s information from WHMCS and create a new company and a new user in activeCollab (as required). Newly created users will also be given a predefined system role and will be added to a project of your choice. The module does not sync activeCollab users with WHMCS.
